Pamphlets and Leaflets

The Japan Center was conceived of in 1998 as a means to highlight Japan's ODA activities and to serve as a base for developing human networks.
To date, 9 centers have been established in 8 Asian countries that are transitioning to market economies. They function to develop the human resources that will support these economies.

Each Japan Center serves as a hub for numerous activities, such as Business courses and other instruction in the skills required to transition to a market economy, Japanese language courses, and Exchanges to promote mutual understanding.
The centers also transmit information about Japan to the general public through information services (libraries, audio-visual resources, the Internet) and communicate local information to Japan.

We hope that the Japan Center will continue to serve as a base of exchange and mutual understanding among persons from both Japan and the countries in which they are based. Our aim is to provide "wide-open centers" for use by private enterprises, government bodies, students, and the general public.
